Rice/Ordinary Rice (b.1999) is a photography-based visual artist.
She is inspired by daily life and her own experiences. From video games and movies to textiles, plants, and animals (living organisms) and interprets them into her work by borrowing various elements and combining them with fashion portraiture.
Coming from an illustration design background from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, she employs relevant skills such as storytelling, color grading, and character design in her works. She fuses art and pop culture and fashion, to create stylings and set designs that look like dreamscapes.
